About Our Workshops
New Workshop dates announcedParticipants learn how to find, tell, create, and publish an autobiographical digital story in an encouraging, creative, and fun environment. The goal of the workshops is to provide all participants with the intellectual and technical skills necessary to independently create digital stories in their own work, school or personal endeavors. Starting with story theory and ending with technical skills, participants will create a 2-3 minute piece to take home on CD or DVD.
These workshops are for the bold, the curious, and the creative. For those willing to explore the place of story and new media to better understand themselves and the world in which they live. As T.S. Eliot said, "And the end of all our exploring/Will be to arrive where we started/And to know the place for the first time."
Each workshop is two full days, from 9 AM to 5 PM with an additional one 2-hour preparation session earlier in the week. These workshops are hands-on and project-based. There's only one way to learn how to do it, and that's to do it.
